Stop it.
Stop waiting for other people to make decisions before you decide your own future.
Example:
“I need to wait and see if I’m going to get that promotion and then I’ll decide what to do.”
Decide: do you want the promotion? If so, why?
What will the promotion in this company bring you that you don’t have? Money? Title? Responsibility? Connection? All of the above? More?
Any of those things (and more) can be an achieved outside of ‘this’ promotion.
Waiting to see if you get it, is not living on purpose. It’s waiting for others to decide for you.
“I’d quit my miserable job but I HAVE to support my family.”
First, that’s a choice.
Second, there are so many ways to build wealth and income. You are not burdened to accept the miserable job you’re in. There are options. But when you believe your options are managed by others, you limit yourself.
Ask yourself instead…
What do I want for my family? Why?
What would I love to do and provide what I want for my family at the same time? How can I go about the business of achieving THAT goal, instead of waiting?
Stop waiting.
Choose what you want and know the reason why… and go friggin’ get it.
Stop waiting for other people to approve of what you’re doing.
Stop waiting for perfection before you love.
Stop waiting for your body to be perfect before you take family photos.
You’re waiting because you’re focused on what you have and what you’re afraid you’ll lose. But what if you could create more? What if there are other options?
DECIDE what you want your life to look like.
Make a plan.
Ask for help.
BUILD your life.
Stop waiting for other people to change, choose, agree, applaud, say yes or say no.
Your life. Your choices. Your castle.
